Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information using Tracker software.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
  • Manage appointment schedules and assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent patient care in various specialties, including pediatrics and orthodontics.
  • Keep clean and maintain the place.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Tracker or similar dental software is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures.
  • Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is advantageous.
  • Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Epic software can be beneficial for patient management.
