Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Provide a range of dental services, including preventive care, restorative procedures, and emergency treatments.
  • Utilize dental software systems such as Tracker for patient management, record keeping, and treatment documentation.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric patients.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
