We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care while promoting oral health education. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction during their visits.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Tracker or similar software.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric treatments, as required.
- Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors to the practice.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in areas such as orthodontics and pediatrics being a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients effectively.
- Previous experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $49.32-$51.71 per hour
