Event Vehicle Coordinator

The Event Vehicle Coordinator acts as a Red Bull Brand ambassador and face of our brand, who is ultimately responsible for the Red Bull Event Vehicle (EV); a core marketing asset in our grassroots, field marketing initiatives. Responsibilities entail planning and executing the schedule for the Event Vehicle across events, sales support and "surprise & delight" consumer moments, along with support in programming Event Vehicle content alongside our social media team. The Event Vehicle Coordinator will directly report into the Field Marketing Manager (FMM), and dotted line report into the National Event Manager (NEM), to bring to life the vision and mission of the EV. Through year, this role will create a strong program that surprises our consumers, both digitally and IRL, with the car on the road as often as possible.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
FIELD MARKETING, SPORTS & CULTURE MARKETING
Responsible for keeping the event vehicle in top operational performance, ensuring we uphold of Red Bull's premium appearance, including vehicle maintenance and cleanliness. Implement a regional marketing and sales plan around the event vehicle. Have a strong network in key playgrounds across both Sport and Culture within the region to leverage for EV programming. Possess an excellent understanding of all vehicle operations, including A/V set-up and tear down. Ensure there is always sufficient cold product on-hand in the vehicle, while tracking how product is being seeded. Build and consistently update event vehicle music and video content library. Obtain necessary permits as an extension of EV programming where needed. Maintain travel & entertainment budget, alongside activation budget. Ongoing reporting of all event vehicle activity to the FMM & NEM on a monthly basis.
RED BULL MEDIA NETWORK
Responsible for collaborating with the Red Bull Media Network Content and Programming teams to identify content opportunities in field for @RedBullCanada social channels based on the marketing priorities in the region. Ability to inspire and excite consumers with engaging and exciting content that features the Event Vehicle with support from the Content Producer and/or contracted third parties. Responsible for ensuring assets are captured based on the and raw deliverables formats agreed upon.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 1+ years of experience in Marketing.
- Proven background in negotiation, partnerships & budget management.
- Excellent understanding of sports and culture landscape within the region, involvement in both.
- General knowledge and comfort using and capturing low-fi content on Instagram and TikTok.
- Current iOS (i.e., iPhone 8 or above) or Android (i.e., Samsung Galaxy S8 or above) device that is in good working condition and can effectively capture and deliver content.
- Valid driver's license: ability to drive automatic transmission vehicle.
- Comfortable and adept at driving in on and off-road situations.
- Sociable and outgoing; comfortable interacting with consumers of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Strong written, presentation and verbal skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong leadership, initiative and communications skills.
- Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills, solutions based.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable with substantial amount of road travel.
The rate for this position is $20/hr - $23/hr. The rate is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
