As an
Event Coordinator
, you'll play a key role in developing our network of nonprofits, coordinating volunteering opportunities, and supporting our growing business. Your responsibilities will revolve around event coordination, relationship building, project management, and strategy while working in a hybrid, flexible, and collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Connect with Nonprofits:
    Build relationships with organizations in need of volunteers across Canada and beyond.
  • Plan & Coordinate Events:
    Schedule and organize impactful volunteering opportunities for our corporate clients.
  • Innovate & Scale:
    Contribute ideas to improve processes as we grow.
  • Join a Scaling Startup:
    Work on ancillary projects as necessary, with focuses including market research, analysis, project management, operations, and product-related projects.
  • Manage Data:
    Maintain high-quality data across CRM and data platforms.

What You Bring:

  • Organization, Attention to Detail, and Time Management:
    One big challenge is managing multiple volunteering events with additional projects and responsibilities. Managing many tasks while not compromising on quality is essential for the role.
  • Passion for Supporting Nonprofits with Technology:
    We're strong advocates for our nonprofit partners. If you believe in using tech for social impact, this role could be for you. Experience volunteering or working with nonprofits is a plus.
  • Experience Managing Stakeholders & Data:
    Demonstrating that you understand how to coordinate and communicate with different stakeholders is key. As a small team, keeping clean data is vital for our operations.
  • Excellent Written and Spoken Communication:
    We communicate with nonprofits and clients both via email and over the phone. Strong communication skills are essential for this role to ensure all relevant information is shared.
  • Eagerness to Learn and Grow:
    At startups, things change quickly. This role will inevitably change and adapt over time based on the needs of the company. You will also play a vital role in our growth and will be able to contribute to the strategy of a high-growth startup.
