About the Role

I am looking for a reliable and detail oriented person who enjoys event setup, gifting, decor and user experience tasks. This role is perfect for someone who likes hands on work, enjoys making a space feel welcoming and polished, and prefers executing clear instructions rather than developing strategy.

This is an execution focused role for someone who enjoys creating thoughtful onsite experiences.

Due to the unexpected absence of an existing team member, we have an immediate activation that requires support. The successful candidate will start right away.

Type of Work You Will Do

  • Light event setup at small onsite activations
  • Decorating simple displays such as holiday trees or seasonal elements
  • Preparing and staging small giveaways or guest experience materials
  • Creating simple numbered tags or ornaments
  • Picking up items from local stores when required
  • Bringing a warm and organized presence to onsite events
  • Assisting with load in and load out
  • Ensuring the guest experience feels elevated and intentional
  • Following clear direction and working efficiently
  • Offering small improvements when appropriate
  • Assist in the execution of event plans including layout design scheduling and logistics coordination
  • Assist in the execution of client gifting strategies including scheduling and logistics coordination

Requirements

  • Valid driver licence
  • Reliable vehicle you can use for pickups and drop offs
  • Comfortable working onsite in New Westminster and Vancouver
  • Comfortable working as an independent contractor
  • Able to work a few hours at a time on an as needed basis
  • Able to start immediately
