Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking an analytical Senior Financial Analyst for a short-term assignment. This is a hands-on role that will support monitoring and contributing to the reporting cycle through the analysis of financial statements and budgets. In this role, you will collect, review, and analyze year-end financial information, provide expert financial analysis, and support the consolidation of results into financial statements. You will also review project cash flows and business plans, prepare written financial analyses and reports, and perform additional duties as required to meet reporting and oversight objectives.

Qualifications

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a Senior Financial Analyst role, and are proficient with Generally Accepted Accounting Standards as set out by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants;
  • Your have extensive experience analyzing financial statements and financial consolidation;
  • You have completed or are working toward a professional designation (i.e. CPA, CMA);
  • You have working knowledge in transfer payment process to review funding requests;
  • You have used Oracle Financials or a similar system in the past to develop financial statement reporting requirements, generate reports, and assess the recording and consolidation of financial information;
  • You are methodical, organized, and excel in a fast-paced environment;
