Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee our security operations and ensure the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, surveillance, loss prevention, and CCTV management. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate administrative services
  • Manage the operations of a department providing a single administrative service
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within establish
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • Interview, hire and provide training for staff
  • Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services
  • Manage events
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect company assets.
  • Oversee the surveillance systems, including CCTV, ensuring they are operational and effective in monitoring premises.
  • Conduct regular assessments of security risks and vulnerabilities within the organization.
  • Lead investigations into security incidents, thefts, or breaches of protocol.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns.
  • Train and supervise security personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare reports on security activities, incidents, and trends for management review.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a security management role or similar position within law enforcement or corporate security.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems.
  • Experience in loss prevention strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions.
