About the Role

We're a dynamic and growing company seeking experienced and driven Deckhands to help shape our future. As a Hullo Deckhand, you'll play a key role in supporting the onboard crew, ensuring the highest levels of safety standards, and fostering a best-in-class guest experience. Our team operates two brand new state-of-the-art Damen 4212 high-speed vessels, purpose-built for reliability, efficiency, and speed.

As a Deckhand on our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests while also contributing to the overall success of our company. Your day-to-day duties will include operating and maintaining ship's safety equipment, handling lines, assisting with emergency duties, keeping lookout on the bridge, managing deck cleaning and ship's husbandry, performing vessel maintenance, providing food service, and interacting with guests both onboard and in the terminals.

Required Certification (All Certificates must be valid):

- Domestic Vessel Safety (DVS) or Basic Safety Training (BST) or STCW MEDS

- Seafarer's Medical

- Candidates must have the right to live and work in Canada

Desirable Certification & Experience:

  • Occupational first aid (OFA)
  • Serving it Right (Free Online Course)
  • Passenger Safety Management (PSM)
  • Passenger ship and guest/food experience
