This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned project manager to lead one of the most significant HR technology transformation initiatives: modernizing the SAP Human Capital Management platform by implementing the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Onboarding modules.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee several interconnected workstreams, driving the core Employee Central implementation while coordinating supporting activities such as data migration, integration, testing, and data replication.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in delivering complex enterprise HR solutions, ideally within higher education or similarly complex environments. The Senior Project Manager will complement their project management role by carrying out business analysis work to support the project's workstreams when required. In addition to leading the project, the incumbent will play a vital role in supporting the AMS/SAP Management Team across a range of strategic initiatives associated with the HR technology portfolio. This includes conducting research, performing analytical and design work, preparing background materials and special reports, and evaluating data and statistics to inform planning and decision-making. The Senior Project Manager will provide strategic advice on long-term planning and project management, participate in committees and initiatives, and deliver presentations as required, contributing to a cohesive, forward-looking HR technology strategy for the institution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• University graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recognized certification in project management (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CAPM).
• ITIL and Lean Six Sigma certifications are an asset.
• Courses in Human Resources are an asset. SAP SuccessFactors Certifications (preferred):
• Employee Central (EC) Core Certification.
• Onboarding 2.0 Certification.
• Additional SuccessFactors module certifications (e.g., Recruiting, Performance & Goals) are an advantage

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum eight (8) years' experience in Human Resources technology related project management.
• Demonstrated experience leading large scale/institutional wide IT projects.
• Extensive vendor management experience, including:
• Negotiating contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Managing relationships with SAP implementation partners, third-party vendors, and consultants
• Driving accountability for deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
• Broad knowledge of HR policies, procedures, practices and employment legislation.
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing business processes, streamlining and improving efficiency and effectiveness of HRIS and HR related systems.
• Past experience managing project budgets.
• Experience related to the implementation of the SAP SuccessFactors Talent module, specifically Employee Central (EC), at a company with similar size and complexity.
• Strong understanding of data cleaning and transformation as well as SAP/SuccessFactors integration and data replication.
• Hands on experience leading testing and UAT phase of project.

• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a decentralized organization, ensuring alignment across diverse departments and governance structures.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
