We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our team

Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience, is friendly, a team player and flexible with working hours.

This job is for 30 hours per week (6 hour shift per day)

A Health Spending Account of $2000 per year.

A Uniform Allowance is also included.

Duties

  • Welcoming patients and preparing them for treatment
  • Providing chairside assistance to the dentist during various dental procedures
  • Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Taking digital x-rays as needed
  • Cleaning, sterilizing and setting up treatment rooms for patients
  • Managing patient records using dental software (AbelDent)

Qualifications

  • NDAEB Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant credential
  • Experience with AbelDent
  • Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential traits for success in this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
