Hours: Sunday - Thursday 2300 - 0700 (40 Hours/Week)
Classification: CDSW
Summary:
- This position supports a female in her home. During the overnight shift, staff are responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the individuals supported. The shift consists of six hours of rest and two hours of active (wake) time. During wake hours, staff complete required household tasks, documentation, and health and safety checks, while ensuring the environment remains calm and secure. Throughout the rest period, staff remain available and responsive to any needs, providing assistance or support as required. Staff are expected to follow all agency protocols, maintain confidentiality, and promote a respectful and supportive home environment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Disability Supports and/or related education preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required.
- A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
- Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification.
- Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required.
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft word, and computer use required.
**Salary**:
- $19.75-24.27 This is dependent on education. Benefits are available after 90 day Qualifying Period.
