Graham is actively recruiting a Vice President, Business Development to support the Services Division. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, this role leads the strategic acquisition of profitable work by leveraging strong industry relationships, representing Graham at key events, and driving a disciplined pursuit strategy across maintenance, turnaround, and small capital projects through long‑term service agreements, master service contracts, bundled programs, and collaborative execution models that prioritize efficiency and strong client partnerships.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new work through market research, client targeting, and competitive analysis
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and JV partners while representing Graham at industry events
  • Lead pursuit planning, including internal approvals, bid preparation, RFQ/RFEOI responses, and client presentations
  • Collaborate with internal BD and Operations teams to align messaging, resource planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
  • Evaluate upcoming opportunities for strategic fit, competitiveness, risk, and revenue potential

The Right Tools for the Job

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical or scientific field (advanced education or accreditation an asset).
  • 12–15 years of experience in business development or project/construction management, with proven success acquiring work across maintenance, turnaround, and small capital projects.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills, with solid understanding of design processes, construction, finance, and contractual frameworks.
