Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and support warehouse distribution operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in maintaining smooth warehouse workflows and ensuring accurate order picking and inventory management.

Duties

  • Operate Raymond Swing Reach forklifts to perform inbound and outbound material

handling tasks including put-away, retrieval, and replenishment of inventory in high-

density racking systems

  • Navigate VNA layouts with precision and maintain high levels of productivity and

accuracy

  • Adhere strictly to company and regulatory safety procedures, including daily

equipment inspections and safe operation practices

  • Collaborate with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and production teams to

optimize warehouse flow and prevent delays

  • Accurately complete documentation and electronic logging of movements, cycle

counts, and any discrepancies

  • Participate in general housekeeping and operational improvement initiatives within

the warehouse

  • Load and unload freight, including occasional manual handling and lifting (30+ lbs) as

required

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution and forklift operation
  • Proficiency with clamp trucks, order pickers, and other forklift types
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control
  • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and inventory management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
