Job Description:

Shaw GMC is looking for a motivated and reliable Service Shop Hand to join our dynamic service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to grow within the automotive industry.

As a Service Shop Hand, you will support our technicians and service staff by maintaining a clean and organized shop, assisting with vehicle movement, and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist technicians with basic tasks and shop duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bays and shop area
  • Move vehicles in and out of the service area safely
  • Perform light maintenance such as tire inflation, fluid top-ups, and battery charging
  • Deliver parts and tools as needed
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
