Service Porter

Shaw GMC, part of the Kaizen Automotive Group, is one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies and a leader in automotive retail. We are currently looking to add a qualified SERVICE PORTER to our Service team

Description:

The Service Porter is responsible for ensuring vehicles are well cleaned, inspected for damage, moved to where they need to be (including delivering to customers) and ensuring the lot is functional and clean. The role requires having strong time management, a keen eye for detail and being able to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Detailing of vehicles while on the lot and before customer delivery
  • Maintain basic car checks for fluid levels (washer fluid, fuel, oil, etc.)
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Shift Availability: 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license
  • Must be able to drive a manual and automatic transmission
  • Must be physically fit due to constant running for vehicles on the lot
  • Must have a clean drivers abstract
