We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing issues and performing repairs on various vehicle makes and models. Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
  • Assemble components as needed during repairs or installations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair options.
  • Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or equipment safely.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the shop environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Experience

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in welding is a plus but not required.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
  • A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are advantageous.
