Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible hours; some evenings/weekends for events
Compensation: $55,000–$75,000 annually (37.5 hrs/week) + access to health benefits & professional development after 6 months

Why Join Us?
The Gaia Project helps youth drive climate action through hands-on education in K-12 New Brunswick schools. Last year, we reached over 250 schools and thousands of students, teaching practical solutions for climate change, energy, and waste reduction.
As a New Brunswick-based charity, we offer free experiential programs that build skills and inspire meaningful action. With a bilingual team (French/English) and strong provincial partnerships, we're shaping a sustainable future - one classroom at a time.
Joining our team means
- Autonomy to lead and create campaigns and partnerships that make a measurable difference.
- Hybrid work model, flexible hours, and occasional travel (~5 times/year).
- Your wellbeing and work-life balance are important to us.
- Health benefits, professional development, and opportunity for contract extension or advancement.
- Work alongside a mission-driven team that values equity, inclusion, and shared success.
Join passionate professionals who challenge the status quo and continuously improve programs and processes to deliver excellence.
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, relationship-driven marketing leader to elevate our brand and partnerships. You will design and execute integrated marketing strategies, lead campaigns, and build strong collaborations with government, foundations, teachers, and nonprofit partners.
This is a full-time role reporting directly to the Executive Director, offering autonomy to try new things, take creative risks, and lead the charge in building a compelling brand presence. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, hands-on professional who thrives in dynamic environments and values collaboration to achieve impactful results.

- Support and contribute to The Gaia Project's fundraising committee in raising annual revenue.
- Build and maintain partnerships with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Track partnership performance and reporting outcomes to leadership.
- Represent the organization at conferences, events, and meetings to promote partnerships and brand awareness.
The division of responsibilities is designed to be flexible and adaptable, aligning with the selected candidate's profile and experience. While the position encompasses both marketing and partnership functions, the primary focus may evolve over time.

- 5+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, or communications.
- Familiarity with managing social media and drafting newsletters using tools like Mailchimp and/or Hootsuite.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Bilingual (English/French), with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with Francophone partners both verbally and in writing.
- Strong storytelling, content creation, and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated project and team management experience.
- Passion for climate action and positive community impact.
- Alignment with our core values: Inclusion, Innovation, and Collaboration.
Position Requirements
- Have a valid Class 5 Driver's license with a reliable personal vehicle to travel across the province, with occasional long distances.
- Have a clean criminal background less than 3 years old and willing to provide a vulnerable sector background check upon receiving a conditional job offer.
Bonus
- Experience in nonprofit marketing, sponsorship development, or grant writing.
- Knowledge of nonprofit, education, or environmental sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and analytics tools.
