We are looking for skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses/Registered Practical Nurse (LPNs/RPNs) with a minimum of 18 months of experience to join our new travel team who will be sent on short-term travel assignments in Manitoba. Assignments are available in Emergency, Obstetrics, Dialysis, Psychiatry, Mental Health Units, NICU etc.

Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Quickly adapt to new clinical environments, workflows, documentation systems, and facility expectations.
  • Provide safe, compassionate, culturally sensitive and evidenced based nursing care in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
  • Develop and implement patient-centered care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, facility staff, and agency representatives.
  • Maintain flexibility with scheduling, assignments, and travel requirements, including working in remote or high-need locations as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Manitoba.
  • A minimum of 18 months (1.5 years) of experience working as an RN or LPN.
  • Current and valid CPR/BLS.
