We are looking for skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses/Registered Practical Nurse (LPNs/RPNs) with a minimum of 18 months of experience to join our new travel team who will be sent on short-term travel assignments in Manitoba. Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Provide direct nursing care to patients within the Operating Room (OR) according to established standards and administrative policies and procedures. Assess patients’ physical and psycho‑social needs; identify problems, plan, implement, document, evaluate and coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients and perform scrubbing and circulating duties. Obtain, check, set up and position supplies, instruments and equipment required for surgery ensuring that instruments and equipment are in working order. Coordinate and provide nursing care to patients according to physician and anesthetist orders and in conformance with established standards and hospital policies. Candidate Requirements Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Manitoba. A minimum of 18 months (1.5 years) of experience working as an RN or LPN. Current and valid CPR/BLS.
