The Social Media Strategist role is your chance to shape the voice and presence of The Brick and The Brick Mattress Store across multiple platforms.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Content Creation, the Social Media Coordinator will lead the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of social content across national, Quebec, and franchise accounts. This role blends creative thinking with analytical precision, leveraging trends, audience insights, and platform tools to grow engagement and drive results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute content strategies for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, aligned with brand goals and audience insights.
  • Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring campaigns are timely, cohesive, and on-brand.
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor posts using Sprout Social.
  • Manage paid social campaigns, including boosting through Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest, optimizing for reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, delivering insights and recommendations to guide strategy.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and the broader marketing team to produce high-quality creative assets.
  • Monitor social trends and emerging platform features to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Support influencer and UGC strategies, including sourcing talent, managing deliverables, and measuring impact.
  • Oversee content approvals for national and franchise partners, ensuring brand consistency across markets.
  • Use Workfront to manage projects, timelines, and deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies for brands across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social analytics and ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Canva, Sprout Social, and project management tools like Workfront.
  • Hands-on experience with paid social advertising on Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and proofreading skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of best practices for both organic and paid social content.
  • Bilingual in English and French is considered a strong asset

Education & Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or related
  • Minimum 2–3 years in social media strategy, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Retail or franchise environment experience is an asset.
