**Responsibilities
Recruitment Coordination**
- Post and manage job openings across job boards and internal channels
- Screen resumes for basic qualifications and coordinate interview scheduling
- Communicate with candidates regarding next steps and timelines
- Prepare offer packages and new-hire documentation using approved templates
- Coordinate reference and background checks (where required)
Onboarding & HR Administration
- Prepare onboarding packages and schedule orientations
- Collect, track, and file onboarding documents (forms, acknowledgements, IDs, etc.)
- Track probation end dates and coordinate reminders for probation check-ins
- Support offboarding administration (file updates, property checklist, document processing)
Employee Records & HR Systems
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee files
- Update HRIS/employee records (status changes, contact updates, reporting lines)
- Maintain HR trackers (training completions, document expiry tracking, attendance logs as assigned)
- Support basic HR reporting and administrative requests
Policy Support & Compliance
- Assist with policy distribution and acknowledgement tracking
- Support ESA-related HR administration (documentation support for leaves and employee records)
- Maintain documentation for WSIB-related files as directed (administrative support only)
- Ensure confidentiality and consistent documentation standards
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience (co-op/internships welcome)
- Understanding of Ontario ESA & WSIB
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $48,000 per year
