**Responsibilities

Recruitment Coordination**

  • Post and manage job openings across job boards and internal channels
  • Screen resumes for basic qualifications and coordinate interview scheduling
  • Communicate with candidates regarding next steps and timelines
  • Prepare offer packages and new-hire documentation using approved templates
  • Coordinate reference and background checks (where required)

Onboarding & HR Administration

  • Prepare onboarding packages and schedule orientations
  • Collect, track, and file onboarding documents (forms, acknowledgements, IDs, etc.)
  • Track probation end dates and coordinate reminders for probation check-ins
  • Support offboarding administration (file updates, property checklist, document processing)

Employee Records & HR Systems

  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee files
  • Update HRIS/employee records (status changes, contact updates, reporting lines)
  • Maintain HR trackers (training completions, document expiry tracking, attendance logs as assigned)
  • Support basic HR reporting and administrative requests

Policy Support & Compliance

  • Assist with policy distribution and acknowledgement tracking
  • Support ESA-related HR administration (documentation support for leaves and employee records)
  • Maintain documentation for WSIB-related files as directed (administrative support only)
  • Ensure confidentiality and consistent documentation standards

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience (co-op/internships welcome)
  • Understanding of Ontario ESA & WSIB
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $48,000 per year
