Markham, Ontario, Canada Green Infrastructure Partners Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Reporting to the Director, Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing the intake and initial processing of vendor invoices using the Scanman Workbench application. This role ensures timely and accurate capture of invoice data, supports compliance with company policies, and facilitates smooth workflow within the Accounts Payable team.

Primary Scope of Role

  • High volume data entry and validation.
  • Conducts OCR Training in Scanman Workflow to enable system recognition of future invoices.
  • Liaises with the Business Units (BUs) in making sure mandatory fields are accurately filled and/or issues related to the distribution of invoices are addressed.
  • Contacting vendors regarding outstanding balances and issues.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures that enhance the AP function and support automation initiatives.
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Providing support to the Director, Accounts Payable as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
  • Experience with computerized accounts payable systems is beneficial.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or similar enterprise software system is considered an asset.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
