Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Location: This position is for a pending new office in the Tri-Cities area (P. Moody/P. Coquitlam/Coquitlam) and a requirement that applicant live locally and be prepared to work in-office a minimum 2-3 days/week.

EcoLogic Consultants Ltd. is a consulting firm specializing in environmental and archaeological assessments and permitting processes across Canada. They emphasize their core values and guiding principles in their operations, ensuring responsible and sustainable practices.

Key services include infrastructure permitting, technical reviews, monitoring/auditing, environmental assessments, terrain assessments, ecosystem mapping, contaminated site investigations, agricultural assessments, water quality assessment and monitoring, reclamation and rehabilitation, and aquatic and wildlife biology services. We have extensive experience in providing senior guidance to the environmental assessment and permitting process, throughout Canada and beyond.

Reporting to the Controller, the AR Project Biller / Office Administrator will provide high level support to a fast-growing enterprise. You will be a key member for the team that will help streamline and optimize performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality control of staff time entry
  • Accurate invoice creation and timely delivery
  • Provide client support for payment-related issues
  • Reconcile payments with accounts receivable ledger
  • Become proficient at using our time and billing software (Vantagepoint)
  • Assist management and staff in production related activities
  • Support with office administration and logistics
  • Professional and courteous communication
  • General office duties and upkeep

Requirements:

  • Canada Permanent Resident (no exceptions)
  • Accounting certification or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in an AR or Project Accounting role
  • Experience with time and billing software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software and related IT support
  • Experience supervising an office, related assets and infrastructure
  • Valid drivers license
