Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping:
  • Oversee the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including managing invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including timekeeping and related calculations.
  • Prepare financial reports for management, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax filings as needed.
  • Record Keeping/File Management:
  • Maintain accurate physical and digital files using systems such as HubDoc.
  • Organize and track all important documents and ensure easy access when required.
  • Office Administration:
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including phone calls, emails, and scheduling.
  • Organize office supplies and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
  • Provide general administrative support for the team.
  • Invoicing customers

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in office administration and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
