Job Summary:
We are hiring a Senior Staff Accountant for our client in the Accounting, Tax, and Consulting Services industry as they are growing This role offers a mix of audit, tax, and advisory work with mid-sized and agriculture-based clients. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of public accounting experience, a CPA designation, and a positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.

Job Location:
London, ON. Flexibility to commute to other locations within 45 minutes - 1 hour of London if required.

Job Type:
Full-time, permanent.

Shift Structure:
8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm; July through October has 4-day work week hours.

Compensation Structure:
Approximately $85,000- $110,000 (or more depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations
  • Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements
  • Support tax planning, estate planning, and advisory projects
  • Mentor and review junior staff
  • Communicate with clients to provide guidance

Skills/Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Senior Accountant experience, with focus on auditing
  • CPA/CGA designation preferred
  • Public accounting experience (mid-sized firm ideal)
  • Specialized knowledge in criminal tax, tax specialties
  • Experience with Agri-accounting (farm-based clients) an asset.
