Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in cooking and food preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently while delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. Your expertise in menu planning, food safety, and fine dining will contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients.
  • Handle food items safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
  • Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
  • Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation.
  • Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
  • Experience in fine dining or catering is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
  • A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
