  • Has previous kitchen or line cook experience (fast-casual or high-volume)
  • Works well under pressure and can handle multiple orders at once with care and accuracy
  • Follow systems and standards cause you know consistency is key
  • Takes pride in presentation, flavour, and consistency
  • Keeps their station clean, organized, and efficient
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully with the team
  • Can follow recipes but also take initiative when needed
  • Is professional, reliable and presentable
  • Understands the value of team work
  • Brings a positive attitude and genuine love for good food and the industry
  • Truly cares about hospitality and service
  • Is open to learning and growing with us
  • Has flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

What you'll do

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Taqueria Vegana's recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
  • Support prep work and restocking during and after shifts
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house and fellow cooks
  • Handle challenges calmly and with a a good attitude
  • Help create a kitchen environment that's respectful, kind, and efficient
