A leading financial institution is seeking a Procurement & Vendor Management Auditor to support audit engagements within the Strategic Sourcing Group (SSG) and Vendor Management functions. This role is ideal for an auditor with strong design and operating effectiveness testing experience, supporting Global Third-Party Risk Management, Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Procurement Operations within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform design and operating effectiveness testing of Procurement, Vendor Management, and Strategic Sourcing controls in line with internal policies and audit standards
- Identify testing populations, select statistically sound samples, and document testing procedures, evidence, and conclusions
- Conduct control walkthroughs with stakeholders across Procurement and Vendor Management functions
- Validate process understanding and assess control design against stated control objectives
- Review internal operating procedures to ensure alignment with control requirements and risk frameworks
- Identify control gaps, assess root causes, and articulate clear audit findings and recommendations
- Communicate effectively with business partners throughout audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting
- Execute follow-up and validation of remediation actions for audit and regulatory issues
- Build strong working relationships across Audit, Risk, Procurement, and Vendor Management teams
- Support divisional and enterprise audit objectives through collaboration and knowledge sharing
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of internal or external audit experience, with a strong focus on controls testing
- Experience auditing Procurement, Vendor Management, Third-Party Risk, or Strategic Sourcing functions preferred
- Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and audit methodology
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and control environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within large, regulated financial institutions is an asset
Education & Certifications:
- University degree or equivalent professional experience
- Professional designations such as CPA, CA, CGA, CIA, or related audit/risk certifications are considered a strong asset
