Configuration Support Specialist

in a pivotal role that drives operational accuracy and system efficiency across our manufacturing processes.

As a
Configuration Support Specialist
, you'll serve as a key connection between order management, manufacturing, and shop floor operations — ensuring
accurate, efficient, and compliant sales order fulfillment
for both hardware and software products.

This position focuses on
maintaining data integrity within the LN ERP system
, supporting operators with daily transactions, identifying process gaps, and collaborating across teams to resolve system issues. What the job is all about:

  • Generate and issue all sales order line items for hardware and software components, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Validate picklist line items and maintain up-to-date fulfillment and inventory records in Infor LN ERP.
  • Monitor order fulfillment progress, escalating potential delays or discrepancies as needed.
  • Track and reconcile serialized stock items to ensure readiness for order fulfillment.
  • Provide day-to-day system support to shop floor operators, ensuring adherence to established LN procedures and promoting best practices.
  • Identify and document workflow gaps between physical operations and LN transactional processes.
  • Conduct initial troubleshooting of minor LN or procedural issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Item Master, NPI, Process Support, and ERP Analysts to resolve system and process challenges.
  • Participate in process reviews and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing feedback to enhance accuracy, automation, and efficiency.
  • Assist with procedure documentation and process change communication, ensuring clarity and adoption across the configuration team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data integrity, operational flow, and system utilization.

Who you are:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) or equivalent tools.
  • Experienced with ERP or inventory management systems (Infor LN experience preferred).
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Reliable, accountable, and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable working in a production setting with moderate noise; occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required.
