Job Summary
We are hiring a Helpdesk Technician to support our Managed Service Provider (MSP) clients. This role provides remote technical support, resolves IT issues, and ensures our clients' systems run smoothly. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and experience working in a fast-paced IT support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to MSP clients through tickets, phone, and email
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems
- Support network issues including LAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewall access, and connectivity problems
- Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and access points
- Manage tickets using platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy
- Document solutions, procedures, and client environment details
- Assist with workstation setup, imaging, and lifecycle management
- Provide support for remote and hybrid users
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to maintain client system stability and security
Required Experience
- Experience in an MSP, IT consulting environment, or similar technical support role
- Strong understanding of networking concepts: LAN, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP
- Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux troubleshooting
- Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy
- Experience resolving hardware issues and supporting peripherals
- Ability to explain technical problems in simple, clear language
- Experience supporting remote users
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RMM tools (Datto, Kaseya, NinjaOne, Syncro, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices
- Understanding of imaging tools and deployment processes
- Ability to handle multiple support requests in a fast-paced MSP environment

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Help desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 2 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Windows : 2 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Windows Server: 2 years (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
