Connectra Technologies is looking for Independent Contractors and Small Contracting Companies across NorthAmerica for installation, preventative maintenance and repair dispatches in the field as per the standard installation practices, following all policies and procedures and maintaining a safe working area. If you are a qualified professional in the Data and/or Network Field and interested in increasing revenue and expanding your business, we would like to partner with you for field services.
Key responsibilities:
- Data Cabling
- Network Equipment Installations and Configurations
- Installation, Preventative Maintenance and Repair dispatches
- Performing work in Telecommunications, Network Infrastructure
- Installation of equipment (Modems, Routers, Switches), Demarc Extensions(Extending CAT5 Cable/Terminations), LAN Drops, as well as working with customer help desks to configure equipment
- The security work includes installation of equipment (Panels, Keypads, Motions, etc) as well as working with customer helpdesk to configure equipment
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining the proper solutions
- Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Managing all On-Site Installations, Repairs, Maintenance and Test Tasks
- Producing timely and detailed service reports
- Following all the procedures and protocols of the company
- Cooperating with the technical team
- Building positive relationships with customers
Knowledge and Skills required:
- A qualified professional in the Data and/or Network Field
- Experience in a Customer Service Oriented position
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload
- Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office programs
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
