Security Systems Technician

We are looking for a Security System technician to join our growing team.

You will:

* Perform Installation, configuration, testing and troubleshoot Intrusion Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, PA Systems and Sound Systems.

*Own the technical resolution process by performing structured root-cause analysis, resolving device-level issues, and executing corrective actions to maintain uptime across customer environments.

*Configure IP networking components—PoE switches, routers, NVRs, VMS platforms—and ensure seamless interoperability across multi-vendor ecosystems.

* Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals

* Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer specifications

Requirements:

*Comfortable with drills, lifts, testers (multimeter, cable certifier), crimping tools, and typical field instrumentation.

* Ability to configure PC hardware and application programs as required

* Hands-on expertise in cable pulling, termination (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, fiber optional), mounting hardware, and equipment commissioning in commercial and industrial environments.

*Ability to interface with clients, explain system functions, and deliver a polished service experience while representing the organization's brand promise.

*Comfort with ladders, heights, confined spaces, and lifting equipment as needed. Must hold a valid driver's license and maintain reliable transportation.

*Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, new platforms, and updated procedures in a fast-moving security ecosystem.

*Willingness to work after-hours, weekends, or on-call rotations based on project or service requirements.

* Ability to train other technicians and customers

* Must have good interpersonal, communications, organization, and prioritization skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60 per hour
