Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments through various landscaping tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance, with a strong focus on quality and safety. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, develop mechanical and construction skills, and contribute to beautiful, functional landscapes.

Duties

  • Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for site preparation and landscaping projects
  • Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
  • Use hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, and other landscaping tasks
  • Assist with construction projects such as retaining walls, patios, or walkways
  • Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Apply horticultural practices to promote healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics
  • Follow safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications

  • Experience with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment and tools is a plus
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and construction processes
  • Knowledge of horticultural principles and plant care best practices
  • Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy materials and operating machinery
  • Prior experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is advantageous
  • Valid driver's license is preferred for equipment operation or site travel
