Snow Removal Skid Steer Operator

Cedarwood Contracting is seeking an experienced skid steer operator for the upcoming 2025/26 snow removal season. If you know how to handle a machine in winter conditions and want steady work with a professional outfit, we want to hear from you.
Equipment You'll Operate
- Skid Steer Loader equipped with a snow bucket
Job Description
Operators will be responsible for managing a snow route during every snow event of the season.
Duties include:
- Plowing snow using a skid steer with a snow bucket.
- Keeping properties accessible throughout storms.
- Performing post-storm cleanup to Cedarwood's standards.
- Safely operating and maintaining assigned equipment.
- Filling out log sheets to track work completed.
Compensation
- Hourly pay + seasonal retainers available (to be discussed during in-person meetings).
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience plowing snow with a skid steer.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain skid steer and attachments.
- Must be on-call throughout the season (day & night availability).
- Clean driver's abstract required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work long shifts in challenging winter conditions.
