Job Description

Blacktop Asphalt Paving is seeking a reliable and experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our winter maintenance crew. This position plays a key role in keeping commercial and residential sites safe and accessible throughout the winter season.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate skid steer equipment for snow removal and winter site maintenance
  • Clear snow from parking lots, driveways, walkways, and designated areas
  • Assist with salting, sanding, and ice control as required
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues
  • Work efficiently and safely in severe weather conditions, including overnight and early morning shifts
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site cleanliness

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of skid steer operating experience
  • Experience in winter maintenance and snow removal preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during weather events
  • Strong understanding of site safety and equipment operation
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
