Skid Steer Operator

Job Description
Blacktop Asphalt Paving is seeking a reliable and experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our winter maintenance crew. This position plays a key role in keeping commercial and residential sites safe and accessible throughout the winter season.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate skid steer equipment for snow removal and winter site maintenance
- Clear snow from parking lots, driveways, walkways, and designated areas
- Assist with salting, sanding, and ice control as required
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues
- Work efficiently and safely in severe weather conditions, including overnight and early morning shifts
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site cleanliness
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of skid steer operating experience
- Experience in winter maintenance and snow removal preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during weather events
- Strong understanding of site safety and equipment operation
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
