Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Snow Shoveler to assist with winter snow removal duties. This role involves clearing snow from walkways, staircases, and other outdoor areas to ensure safety and accessibility during winter months. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, valid class 5 license with a clean abstract, attention to safety, reliable transportation, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment related to outdoor maintenance. Prior experience in snow removal or construction is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment while contributing to the safety and functionality of our property.

Duties

  • Clear snow and ice from designated outdoor areas using shovels, snow blowers, or other mechanical tools
  • Apply salt/ice melt to walkways and stairs to ensure safe accessible entrances.
  • Ensure pathways, stairs, and entry points are safe and accessible at all times during winter weather conditions
  • Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete snow removal operations in a timely manner
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries while working with mechanical or hand tools

Skills

  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge preferred
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in cold weather conditions
  • Attention to safety procedures and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks efficiently
