Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times.
  • Support the team with additional tasks as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Experience

  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food service standards is a plus.
  • Experience in hospitality or hotel settings will be considered an advantage.
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a team environment are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
