Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team on the weekends. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the hospitality industry.

Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machines or manual cleaning methods.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
  • Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to facilitate efficient kitchen operations.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards in the kitchen environment.
  • Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant by assisting with light cleaning duties when required.
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations including food preparation and cooking support is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward supporting restaurant staff.
