Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cookware are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
  • Support banquet services by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for events.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
  • Participate in regular cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment and storage areas.

Skills

  • Experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with bussing, cleaning, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling safety regulations.
  • Previous experience in catering or hospitality roles is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
