Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the overall food service operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. The Ideal candidate would be available for evening and weekend shifts.

Duties

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
  • Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes promptly.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in catering events or banquets as needed, providing support in food service operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices is a plus.
  • Experience in food preparation or cooking is beneficial for supporting kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of bussing techniques and banquet service can enhance performance in this role.
