Responsibilities include engaging customers, demonstrating products, processing insurance claims, performing repairs, and driving sales through effective merchandising and upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail or technology sales are highly valued to better serve our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products and services that meet their needs
  • Provide excellent customer interaction in person and over the phone
  • Process insurance claims, including assessments, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Perform basic to intermediate phone repairs (training provided if needed)
  • Sell mobile phones, accessories, activations, protection plans, and financing options
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits
  • Provide knowledgeable advice on technology products, phones, computers, and accessories
  • Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
  • Assist with basic computer troubleshooting and repairs
  • Operate POS systems accurately, including cash handling and payment processing
  • Perform merchandising duties to maintain attractive product displays and organized shelves
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
  • Manage time effectively to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly
  • Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in technology or electronics (asset)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
  • Interest in technology, phones, computers, and repairs
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills
  • Experience with product demos, merchandising, and upselling is an asset
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Bilingual proficiency (English + additional languages) is a strong asset
  • Repair or technical sales experience is beneficial but not required — training provided
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
