Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental practice. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and proficiency in handling administrative tasks efficiently.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the dental office.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, responding to inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
  • Manage patient records using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process patient payments and verify insurance information.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software .
  • Familiarity with dental terminology is beneficial.
  • Strong office experience with administrative duties, including managing front desk responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
