Job Description
Position: Assistant Store Manager, Toronto, 53 Orfus Road
Location: Toronto, ON.
Reports to: Store Manager
Hire Date: ASAP
Job Summary
Under the administrative direction of the Store Manager, support the Store Manager to cope with the day to day administrative duties, fully integrate all aspects of resources to improve sales performance, ensure the daily retail operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager to abide and enforce all the company's rules, regulations, and the business plan.
Implement the task(s) which is requested by the Store Manager
Investigate the market, collect the market information and provide the feedback to the store manager.
Guide the shop assistants to sell the new product, adjust promotion or replace goods.
Tasks such as sales generation and visual merchandising, making sure store is up to date with visuals, such as mannequin outfitting.
Must fill segment trackers for management team
Must be able to sort, price and tag with competence.
Opening and closing productivity check lists to ensure store standards
Track the stores supply and best-selling merchandise inventory; ensure the goods can meet the requirements of daily sales and efficient turnaround.
Do the monthly sales analysis, summarize and reflect the running situation of the store to reporting manager.
Assist to develop training techniques on developing product knowledge and add-on techniques.
In general manager authorized, implement the designated duties; be responsible for the manager and store's overall ability to be functional.
In the workplace, help and coach the sales and employees to complete sales targets, cope with the customers' requirements and complaints in a respective manner.
Ready for situational factors, such as fire safety, theft and deal with various other emergencies. Understand protocols for such events.
Performance evaluation for sales and employees, and be able to relate that information through one on one appraisals.

Core Competencies:

Requirements:
3 years of customer service experience
1 year retail management experience
Good time management, communication skills and fluent English speaking.
Knowledge of Microsoft office: including word, excel and outlook.
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to train and retrain staff
Completion of secondary education is an asset
Working Conditions
Interact with all elements in the company
Standing for extensive periods of time
Long hours when necessary
Holidays and weekends
Overtime as required
Ability to attend and participate in presentations/meetings
