Role Description

This is an on-site full-time role for a Dispatcher located in Calgary, AB. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of our drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Key tasks include monitoring routes, managing communication between drivers and clients, maintaining records and logs of dispatch activities, and troubleshooting any delivery issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in scheduling and coordinating driver routes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing driver-client interactions
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and logs of dispatch activities
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving delivery issues
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in using dispatch software and technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in logistics or transport management is a plus
  • Sales experience in the same industry would be an asset
