Job Title: Dispatcher Coordinator
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher Coordinator to support our operations at the Calgary terminal. This role involves coordinating day-to-day activities with truck drivers, managing between 2 and 10 trucks daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning driver routes and shipments with precision, monitoring trucks, and serving as a cross-functional liaison between customer services, sales, and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities with truck drivers.
• Plan and execute driver routes and shipments accurately.
• Monitor truck movements and ensure timely deliveries.
• Act as a cross-functional liaison between customer services, sales, and other departments.
• Utilize truck monitoring software effectively.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience working as a dispatcher, logistics, or transportation coordinator for a freight organization.
• Experience with truck monitoring software.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with cross-border freight.
• Experience with multiple trucking software platforms.
• Six months plus of experience with customs and cross-border freight.

Work Environment

The work environment involves close collaboration with the customer service and sales teams to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. The role reports directly to the Terminal Manager and the Director of Operations. The position is based on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $31.00/hr.
