Job Type & Duration: Full-Time, Permanent

Shift Information: Monday to Friday, 40-44 Hours per week

Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project planning, scheduling, and execution within our ICI electrical division. The ideal candidate will assist the Project Manager and field teams in coordinating day-to-day activities, tracking progress, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient communication between all stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with the coordination, documentation, and administration of electrical construction projects.
  • Prepare and track project schedules, RFIs, submittals, and purchase orders.
  • Support in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, revisions, meeting minutes, and change orders.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist with budget tracking, cost coding, and progress reporting.
  • Conduct site visits as required to support project progress and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards across all assigned tasks.

Working Conditions

  • Combination of office and on-site work in active construction environments.
  • May be exposed to various weather conditions and site hazards; adherence to PPE and safety protocols is mandatory.
  • Travel to multiple project sites within the GTA may be required.
  • Requires multitasking, time management, and collaboration in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical or construction project coordination, preferably in the ICI sector.
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, construction drawings, and project documentation processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and project management tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
