Project Coordinator-LEED

Harbinger network is proud to be partnered with a leading general contractor known for delivering high-quality institutional and commercial projects across Ontario.

Our client is seeking a LEED AP certified Project Coordinator to support a large-scale 100 million+ project located in the Brampton area. This site-based opportunity will see the ideal candidate required to be detail-oriented, and assist in leading the project's planning, documentation and implementation to follow all criterias across 6 areas of both Human and Environmental health. This includes; Sustainable practices, materials selection, energy efficiency, water conservation, air quality and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project coordination support during preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining construction schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams, consultants, and trade partners to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Support claims managemen, budget tracking, and cost reporting.
  • Attend site meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and proactive jobsite culture rooted in quality, safety, and accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to LEED standards and practices.
  • Analyze opportunities for strategic engagement with organizations, governments, and businesses from the green building sector.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of construction experience, ideally as a Project Coordinator.
  • Previous work with a general contractor delivering institutional, multi-unit, or mixed-use projects within Canada.
  • Strong knowledge of document control, scheduling, and construction administration.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects within Canada where LEED has been used to promote sustainable high-performance design.
  • LEED certification
