Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation by chopping, mixing, assembling ingredients, and following recipes accurately.
  • Support cooking processes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers to ensure timely service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware (bussing).
  • Follow strict food safety and handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination.
  • Help with food plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes for guests.
  • Support banquet or special event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food service.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks smoothly and ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hotel kitchens is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and basic culinary skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Experience with food handling during events or large gatherings is a plus.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn new skills in hospitality settings. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
