Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, mixing, assembling ingredients, and following recipes accurately.
- Support cooking processes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware (bussing).
- Follow strict food safety and handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination.
- Help with food plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes for guests.
- Support banquet or special event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food service.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks smoothly and ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hotel kitchens is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and basic culinary skills.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience with food handling during events or large gatherings is a plus.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn new skills in hospitality settings.
