Maverick is a growing education organization integrating academic tutoring, enrichment programs, and competitive chess. As we enter our 2026–2030 growth phase, we are hiring an Operational Manager to build the operational systems that will support long-term, scalable growth.

The Role

The Operational Manager is the Chief Operator, responsible for turning Founder vision into clear systems, processes, and execution—while ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly without pulling the Founder into daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all programs
  • Build and implement SOPs, KPIs, and reporting systems
  • Manage administrative and operations staff
  • Ensure schedules, staffing, and resources are aligned
  • Report to the Founder with facts, metrics, and options
  • Proactively resolve operational issues before escalation

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years experience in operations or management (education preferred)
  • Strong at building structure, systems, and accountability
  • Calm, organized, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable working with SOPs, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Long-term mindset and high integrity
